The Valley of Pusteria, with its major town of Brunico, acts as a sort of boundary of this Dolomite Region embracing the tourist area of Plan de Corones (105 km ski runs and 31 ski lifts) similar to the tourist area of Alta Pusteria (54 km of ski runs and 28 ski lifts) with the towns of Villabassa, Dobbiaco, San Candido and the village of Sesto. This area is also famous for its 200 km of cross country skiing and a real paradise for lovers of this sport.
